Dr. Bruce Haggerty
Dentist
Dr. Bruce Haggerty started Leisure Dental to help people relieve their dental pain, to improve and maintain their healthy smiles, and to provide affordable dental care to communities in need in the Norfolk, VA area.
He believes that through patient education and proper oral care patients can reach their smile goals.
Born in Germany and raised in Dallas, Dr. Haggerty has always aspired to become a dentist.
He earned his bachelors in biology with a minor in chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. While there, he participated in Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society and was also an active member in his university pre-dental club. Afterward, Dr. Haggerty attended Texas A&M College of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S.
Currently, he has affiliations with the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association.
In his leisure time, Dr. Haggerty enjoys working out and attending his local church.
Dr. Zachary Horace
Dentist
Dr. Zachary Horace earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M/Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He gained extensive experience and training by providing dental care to underserved communities. Dr. Horace is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
After graduation.
Dr. Horace practiced dentistry in his hometown of Houston, TX for over 5 years. Recently, he moved to Virginia and continues to be actively involved in the dental community by attending conferences and workshops while volunteering internationally. He remains up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, incorporating innovative techniques and technologies into his practice for optimal patient care.
Dr. Horace is passionate about dentistry and strives to change lives by bringing out the best in everyone. His goal as a dentist is to always serve the community by providing exceptional dental care that ensures oral health not only today, but for years to come. When you’re in the chair with him, you’ll see his enthusiasm for dentistry and his commitment to providing the best care possible.
