What are Denture and Partials?

A “denture” refers to a removable dental appliance that replaces missing teeth, while a “partial denture” is a type of denture that only replaces a few missing teeth, meaning the wearer still has some natural teeth remaining in their mouth to support the appliance; essentially, a partial denture fills gaps where only a few teeth are missing, unlike a full denture which replaces all teeth in an arch.

● Full denture: Replaces all teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.
● Partial denture: Replaces only a few missing teeth, attaching to the remaining natural teeth using clasps or precision attachments.
